Remember this offseason when...

I'll admit it, I said I'd take Cutler over Romo for the future (I think I did...). I'm certainly not ready to give up on Jay after one start on a brand new team. He was good in Denver, and i loved him coming out of college. I think Tony is better, but no one can call Cutler a scrub because of last nights game.

Sure we can. He was absolutely horrid in that game. No way Chicago loses he had only been 2 int bad. He was 4 int horrible.

And yes, a couple of the ints were bad routes by the receiver, but you still need to recognize the D before releasing the ball. By rights, he should have had 3 other balls picked off.

I foresee fans wearing paper bags in ChiTown by December, unless Cutler is "disappeared" into a basement or the IR list.

Has any QB ever been IR'd for mental defect before???

LMAO at those old threads. WOW.

IQ points just disappear in the offseason don't they?

If those who wanted Cutler are waiting for Mensa to call, it'll be a long wait.

Cutler was absolutely horrendous the other night, Chicago brass has to be extremely disappointed.

That said, we've all seen Romo make alot of those same kinds of throws that Cutler made the other night. The difference between Romo being really good and a true superstar will be his improvement in decision making. Other than 1 or 2 throws in preseason and probably 1 really questionable one vs TB, he appears to be going in the right direction.

Whether Cutler does the same, who knows.

A bunch of you guys were posting how you wanted Cutler over Romo? :lmao2:

Nuff.....said.....

As hard as I am on Romo, having Cutler over him would be a nightmare. Cutler is a farce. I'm glad I wasn't part of that Cutler fraternity.

I am part of the "Romo step up and lead" fraternity. He took a pretty decent step in the right direction on Sunday. It's a long stairway up but the treasure at the top will make it all worthwhile.

Cutler was Jake Delhomme bad the other night.

Thankfully, Cowboys fans can be grateful for Jerry Jones being proactive during the offseason. Taking corrective steps towards making the offense more "Romo friendly" should arguably factor into Romo taking a supposed "pretty decent step in the right direction on Sunday".

it's only one game

but I'm not sure who i would take over Romo--would Brady be batter on this team with these coaches? Brees? either Manning? Orten?
