Remember when Alex Smith couldn't lead his talented 49ers to the Super Bowl?

And a great D (4th) and DLine and one of the league's top S tandems and a great OL and great balance, 4th on D and 7th on O.
I agree it definitely wasn't Nick Foles though

Smith lost his job due to continuously failing at the end of games, especially in the playoffs. Bus driver supreme.
He lost his job to injury. The “bus driver” stuff where people questioned how far he could take the team didn’t really kick in until KC.

So you think Romo was hindering us from winning?
Just asking. Guess Im confused
You are talking to a troll who is barely able to fashion complete sentences, has bad grammar, never supports his brain-dead assertions with facts, and literally doesn’t even watch football. You were expecting an intelligent response?

Well he certainly didn't facilitate winning in late season games and the post season.
Even in 2014?

Didn't he literally lead the game-winning drive and throw the winning TD pass with time running out in the playoff win in 2014?
Didn't he lead the entire NFL in PLAYOFF QB rating in 2014?

He wasn't holding the team back
Thats lunacy

2014 is literally all you guys have to hold onto in terms of Romo's "legacy".
If we're being honest, that's the very definition of a Trent Dilfer season without the bling.

It's laughable that you call it a "game winning drive" when there was still over 4:00 minutes left of play time.

So I was telling the truth.
And I know youre just talking trash when Dilfer enters the equation
Dude never “led” anything. His defense did.

Admit it Blake, you just like mixing it up....right or wrong

The truth is, it wasn't a "game winning drive" as you called it.
There was still plenty of time on the clock for Aaron Rogers to seal the deal.

we got outcoached. everyone who knows the Cowboys saw it coming.

This right here x1000. Sorely out coached. I’ll never forget Garrett-top’s $hit eating grin on his face when he shook hands at mid field.

So... he's 1 for 6 in carrying the team on his back in post-season.
And in an Wild Card game nevertheless.

1 year out of 14. I remember the term outlier being thrown around in regards to something. Anyone remember what that was?

5 winning seasons
3 .500 seasons
0 losing seasons
4 years to playoffs
2 years advanced, but 2 one and done

So, the "NO losing seasons" were when the Cowboy's went 8-8 right?

One of those 8-8 seasons happened to be one in which Romo threw away the team's playoff chances against the Commanders,
when he misread the defense and threw a late game pick. But the interception that especially catches my attention is the one on
the first posession, in which Romo sails it straight into the DB's hands then proceeds to berate Ogletree as if it were his fault.
Some leader #9 was, blaming teammates for his own mistakes.

At the time I said they just needed a play maker at QB to get them over the hump, the bus driver is holding them back. Well AT THE TIME Kaepernick was the guy to do so and he helped get them there.

I fear this is what we're going to find ourselves in, but without the QB change to ever give us a chance to compete. How many more years can we afford to waste, assuming we don't make it to the final game? Let's say we fall short again in 2019, are you all ready to find a guy to take the offense one step further while we still have all pro talent surrounding this position?

For us to be successful we will need Dak to play to his form of the last 8 games or so, and to grow from there.

One huge thing Dak has going for him is his ability to step up when we need him the most. I think we can win with him as long as his post Coop performances weren't a mirage.
