A somewhat fascinating -- and equally frustrating -- trend to open the season.
Minnesota is unexpectedly forced to start Shaun Hill. Philly unexpectedly decides to start rookie Carson Wentz. New England is unexpectedly forced to start first-time starter Jimmy Garappolo. Denver chooses to start first-time starter Trevor Siemien. Dallas is forced to unexpectedly start rookie Dak Prescott. (Am I forgetting anyone?)
Hill wins. Wentz wins. Garappolo wins. Siemien wins.
Prescott, of course, loses.
It's the same song and dance for this franchise. Other franchises don't bat an eye, while we can't put together a winning formula to save our lives.
