Report: Antonio Bryant signs with Bengals

Posted by Mike Florio on March 10, 2010 3:02 PM ET
The Bengals reportedly has signed a new receiver.

And that receiver is not Terrell Owens.

According to JOCKlife.com, a web site that shares an office with the agent of receiver Antonio Bryant, the veteran wideout has signed what is believed to be a four-year deal with the Bengals.

Per JOCKlife.com, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The move apparently means that Terrell Owens will not be joining the Bengals.

Unless, of course, the Bengals decide that it's time to part ways with the player who lobbied so heavily for T.O. to be added to the team.

I don't see why they still wouldn't sign TO. With his skills he'd be a viable 3rd option possession guy to compliment Chad Ochocinco and Antonio Bryant.

Especially if they have no interest in bringing back Laveraneus Coles.

I hope they do sign TO. I would love to see Johnson, Owens and Bryant on the same team. That would be a disaster waiting to happen and fun to watch.

As hilarious and entertaining as that would be to watch, I don't hate Carson Palmer enough to wish that on him.

I'm not exactly shocked by this. He's younger and has the potential to be a #2 next to Chad for longer than one year.

On a positive note, if the Bengals also sign TO, there could be a chance another quality player - specifically Golden Tate, also falls to us.

The more options the better for the Cowboys.

Awesome. I hope this means they are not interested in T.O. any longer.

My dream of bringing him back is still alive!

The Bengals are playing with fire, seems like a collection of all the malcontents in the NFL at this point there's no way this will have a happy ending.

Pleas pleas pleas sign MeO so Deion can start guaranteeing a SB on NFLN :laugh2:

Why do they want Chad Ochocinco and Antonio Bryant? That can kill the team's morale standards right there. Hell they can have him. A little younger than T.O., he's got some talent to be a decent #2, but I want no more of him.

3rd option?

Chad Ochocinco, Antonio Bryant, and Matt Jones.

I think it is safe to say they are no longer interested in Owens.

:lmao2:
