Negotiating 101. They're not going to broadcast their true intentions.

Exactly. If they want him really bad, they would be stupid to come out and say, "We'll do what it takes to sign him." Jerry's eyes would light up at that.

Plenty of articles this weekend saying the Broncos have now come out saying they will have meetings to discuss this.
I don't see them trading for him. Maybe if he's dropped though.

It really is tough choice. They traded up to get Lynch. Romo will want at least 2 years....if he can hold up.
That'd leave just 1-2 years left on Lynch's rookie deal without really finding out what they have.

The news today (Feb 28) says the momentum has greatly increased on Denver's interest in Romo....again, assuming he is dropped and willing to redo his deal.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Romo. I keep hearing that Andy Reid has a serious interest in Tony. It sounds like GM's are not going to offer something in a trade and will wait until he is released.

I feel like Romo has a handful of teams on his list(which is why one day this one, next day that one) but he doesn't truly have an ideal destination yet. I expect a week or two of him making visits to a few teams.

The lady who is on the Herd with Cowherd went to a brunch that Romo was at reportedly what came straight from his mouth was that he wants to play 2-3 more years. Can Denver really offer that with Lynch sitting there? They can probably offer a one year, stop gap deal.
I think the Texans are more primed to offer multiple years(with a possibly better team)...but Denver has more organizational success than Houston.

To me, Houston seems to be a better situation for Romo but Denver has been there and Houston has not.

We'll see. They'd be stupid not to be interested.

That's what I was about to post.

They've invested all of that into their team and they are willing to go into another season with skeptical QB play?

HOAX

He was at the Mavs game last night watching his buddy Dirk get 30,000

It shows how lazy many of these newspapers can be these days. Total fake news.

Good call! I didnt even double check it...which is my bad.
