PFT is reporting that CJ Spiller turned down a deal averaging $4.5 million per year. If he's being offered that much, I think it raises any speculated asking price from DeMarco Murray.

Spiller isn't reliable. Can't get through the line and has fumbleitis

not really, the 4 year 16 million was never a realistic number once the season got under way.

But if Spiller is asking for $5 million of more, Murray asking price must be a lot higher.

The devil is in the details. it could have been 4.5 per with very few guarantees. If I knew I could release Spiller without much dead money, I'd sign him for 4.5 or 5 million for several seasons because he is good when he plays.

Live in Buffalo, watch most of the games, dude is smoke and mirrors. He was sharing time with Fred Jackson and still getting injured. Fred plays through a lot of dings, Spiller does not not. An air of needing to be pampered follows him and that's the current vibe around town in regard to him.
