Junior DE Jadeveon Clowney has "worn out his welcome" at South Carolina, according to Dan Pompei.
"It has been well documented that Clowney plays and practices only when he feels like it," Pompei writes. "Other red flags with Clowney, according to multiple front-office men, are his unusual family situation, his entourage, his inconsistent work ethic and the fact that he has worn out his welcome at South Carolina. Some suspect he is motivated strictly by money, and a big payday could leave him too satisfied." These are strong words, and we will likely hear a lot more about the monstrous defensive end throughout the draft process. Talk about how he is often triple teamed and how no defender in the past ten years has been gameplanned against like him, talk about how the DT inside of him has become a bona fide top 40 pick because he is able to work one on ones because of this guys presence instead of his family background.

Who says Warford wasn't on the draft board? Or at least the real draft board that was used. I don't buy into the reports that the media was able to reconstruct the Cowboys full draft board that was actually used during the draft process.

No, not a fake. Just one that is modified as the draft progresses. Take a name off of a guy who has been drafted. Or take a guy off if you don't think you will be in position to grab him with your next pick. Those draft boards can be very fluid. The board can look very different from the time the draft starts and the time the interviews were given.

I'm glad Dallas won't have the opportunity to draft him. In one sense, I would, even with the first pick, unless I needed a QB. But I really don't see this guy reaching his maximum potential.

Warford was a flat out steal for the lions. He should be our starting right guard right now.

Having more access than me doesn't mean they have full access. I never mentioned anything about liking or not liking what was reported. I just understand that what is being reported isn't the whole story. There is always more that even the media doesn't know.
