featuring julius jones isn't that smart to me under many circumstances. may as well just mail it in.

Do ya think Wade has already seen all he can take of JJ? And if he's thinking trade bait with a JJ performance, Wade should just cut his losses.
:laugh2:
I can take MB being out. I just could not take JJ being there a lot. I'd rather see TThompson cause maybe some team could be interested since the Cowboys don't seem to be interested.

Boo hoo hoo. Nobody loves the Cowboys, yet they dominant the talk on most networks, except for the Pursuit of Perfection Patriots. :p:

Many posters here treat the Cowboys like an elementary child treats any discussion about his mother. If so much as one unflattering comment or a comment without a positive spin is uttered about one's mom, posters are ready to fight or accuse someone about talking bad about their moms.

When you mature, you don't take every comment as a slight or try to interpret even the most innocent analysis as a slight against your momma or your team.

Try going over the Hillary Clinton's website, claim you're a big supporter and she definitely has your vote, and then go on and on and on and on about how many ways she MIGHT lose. Then, explain to everyone on that site and forum how they may be WAY TO OPTIMISTIC and have a major uphill battle. In fact, get them softened up and prepare them for defeat. Yeah, go do that, and see how much "love" you get.

Then, criticize them for not having an "open mind" and for not being "realistic". Tell them, and repeat over and over and over, that her Presidential bid may have more holes in it than they'd like to admit, all the while claiming what a big supporter you are of her's.

Go do that, and come back and tell us how well you were received and all the "loving arms" that opened up for you. Then, to really top it all off, act surprised at all the crap you get back for doing that.

I will poke myself in the eyes with forks before I watch JJ run 25 times.

MB3 should be in track pants and a hoodie come Sunday. He is far, far to important to risk. A running game with only JJ= 1 and done in the playoffs. Barber should rest, get his mind right and be ready to touch the ball 25 times a game in the playoffs.

I'm all for resting the majority of the starters against the Commanders.

I do feel a little bad for the Saints and Vikings fans though. If it was the Cowboys in their position, depending on a win from a team with nothing to lose, I'd be pissed if I knew that another team was gonna put in their backups and essentially blow my team's chances at a playoff spot.

But...13-3 and keeping guys healthy is ok with me :)

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Cowboys are likely to use Marion Barber sparingly in Week 17 against the Commanders.

Schefter says Dallas is "gun shy" about risking a top weapon after Terrell Owens and Tony Romo's injuries. It sounds like Julius Jones will dominate running back duties instead. CB Terence Newman could also see limited snaps, improving Todd Collins' matchup. This is bad news for the Saints and Vikings, who will be rooting for Dallas to beat Washington on Sunday. I would like to see him play. But I can't blame them for feeling this way and maybe this is an indication that Barber will get the majority of the carries in the playoffs. And that wouldn't hurt my feelings either.

well they both pretty much blew their own chances:( ...both home games with playoff implications...no excuses...it may be that they both don't deserve to go...New Orleans has arguably the NFLs' worst secondary and after Mckenzie went down it was all over...Minnesota has shoddy quarterback play from Jackson and Peterson was facing heavy fronts...they waited too long to adjust and start throwing...the "12 men on the field" call killed them late...

Sure the Cowboys would like to knock Wash out of the playoffs but there ain't no love loss with the Saints...and while Dallas probably would'nt mind facing either team in the divisional round, it is of secondary importance...

My only disappointment about this development is that I was going to wear the NEW MB3 JERSEY WITH THE STARS ON THE SHOULDER I got for Christmas during the game.

I'm still gonna' wear it, but it's sweeter when he's in there stiff-arming linebackers and safety's, and bowling over defensive backs and just NOT GOING DOWN!!!

What'll be sweet is wearing in when he bulls his way into the end zone during the Super Bowl!!!

Then you can look around and pound your chest in imitation of Barber!

That'll be awesome.
My next jersey is Barber.

Might have to wear Romo during the SB though... will be a tough call:)
