Joseph Randle will likely be the Dallas Cowboys ' starting running back Sunday at the Giants, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Heading into the Cowboys' Week 6 bye, there were rumblings that every position would be reconsidered, including a change from Randle to Christine Michael. While head coach Jason Garrett decided to entrust the offense in Matt Cassel rather than Brandon Weeden, Randle will stay on as the No. 1 running back Sunday. Randle has received between 11 and 18 carries per game this season, which can be expected to hold steady as long as he remains the starter.

Whew, close one. Glad Garrett has the common sense that so many seem to lack. Randle is the best running back on this team. Period.

If you name him the starter and C-Mike comes in and has a bad game it's easier to go back to him. If C-Mike shows us something I would expect a change next week.

Randle has earned the starting position....CMIKE has done nothing at this point to be deemed the starter.... I want to see what CMIKE can do....but show us on the field.. prove it...make us all a believer.....if he is good enough to take the position away from Randle....then its a plus for the Cowboys....bottom line..

Randle mat start but I think the number of carries will depend on productivity. So far, Randle flatlined after ten carries.

Saying Randle is the best RB on the team is like saying lethal injection is the best way to be executed.

Randle may be the best of an average group of RBs on the team... But he knows the playbook, and has done a good job blocking so far.....
something we don't know about CMIKE.....we will see tho.....is this CMIKE kid a mental midget, that doesn't know the playbook or can he take the opportunity and show he deserves a bigger role....

Its show time.....somebody...anybody...needs step up and be a playmaker....

Yep. Randle hasn't earned caca. If anything UnderwearGate should have make him 2nd string or cut. And I was a real big Randle supporter...
