He is a short-term scheme transition playerI don't want injured LB's that average 55 tackles a season.

I think a lot of people around here are doing a disservice to the player. He’s a good player. He’s not a stop gap.He is a short-term scheme transition player
Really good post!!! Let's just tell everything every thought and don't do any of it!! Just move in silence please for once!!!I like to stay informed but I would understand if the team decided to be a little more secretive when it comes to their acquisition plans.
They don't\ have to be deceptive or attempt to throw off their rivals with false information, just a little statement like......."I hope the media and fans understand if the team decided to be a little more secretive when it comes to their acquisition plans."
Actually, that would inspire a little more confidence, in my opinion.
Who we expect to be an amazing starter for us, hard passHe is a short-term scheme transition player
Expect to be a quality role playerWho we expect to be an amazing starter for us, hard pass
Just saying, any fa is usually a short-term fix to give a team time to draft his replacement. Yes, Dean is a good player, his only real issue is his health.I think a lot of people around here are doing a disservice to the player. He’s a good player. He’s not a stop gap.
I agree! Give me Downs
Yes, when you spend bottom dollar to sign free agents, that would be correct. I don’t think that will be the plan this offseason, nor with this player.Just saying, any fa is usually a short-term fix to give a team time to draft his replacement. I think those 2 positions make sense for us. Neither is outrageously expensive in FA. And without a second rnd pick, safety is gonna be tough to draft. Just class has some nice safeties but no second makes it hard to get onePretty sure every team in the league monitors every position.
It’s possible you could get him somewhat cheaperOnly reason we would be linked to Dean is because they hope to get him cheap because of injury history.
Downs won’t likely get past 10He might not get past Cincy at #10. They need defense as badly as we do.
Any position besides DT make sense for us!I think those 2 positions make sense for us.

Often injured is not a solution.I think a lot of people around here are doing a disservice to the player. He’s a good player. He’s not a stop gap.
So true. But 2 we can get in draft making it a bit of a guessing game which 2. Smart move is fill them in FA opening up the draft to the best player with a few exceptions. But we have to fill at least a couple we aren’t likely to get in draft. If you sign a guy and end up drafting same position it just costs Jerry money. I’d rather have too much than not enough. The cap seems to always work itself out.Any position besides DT make sense for us!
