ESPN's Matt Mosley reports Terry Glenn will miss the season due to complications in his recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery.

A member of the organization told Mosley, who used to cover the Cowboys, that Glenn is indeed lost for the season. An article saying so was posted on Dallas' team site Thursday, but pulled when owner Jerry Jones decided to hold off on making the announcement formally. Jones said in a revised story that Glenn would miss "at least two weeks."

If this is true, then Glenn's career maybe over. Age and season ending injuries are generally a very bad sign for being effective in the future. Welp, time for Crayton and Hurd to prove their stuff.

And of course D. Jackson if he comes out...

If Glenn, is in fact done for the year, then Crayton and Hurd will have to step up...now.

I heard Jerry's interview...he tried to paint a merry picture about TG being a big playmaker and his speed. Jerry suggested Austin and Stanback's speed is comparable to TG. We will see.

I think it's true...

I think Dallas is maybe trying to make a deal and if a team knows TG is gone for the season it costs more to do business...

Thank you for this list, i'll check for those guys tomorrow.

I'm sad for Glenn really, I really do like this guy, he just gets it done. But if you're the front office, you really do have to consider getting young/fast/ and talented in this area. I like Hurd/Crayton Stanback and company, but if we can add a really really good WR from the College ranks, this next draft is the time to get'er done.

I'm wouldn't doubt that Austin and Stanback have comparable speed. I just wonder about the hands and route running ability. These two may get some serious playing time this season. Hopefully, one of these guys will step up.
