Not that Cutler has had this great career. But the the Bears were in shambles and he was pretty beat up with a terrible shoulder injury as well during that short span.

To illustrate how fortunate Eli Manning has been, take a look at his career stats vs Jay Cutler's.

Because they've both played at least 11 years, the stats database is pretty valid....no flash in or out of the pan due to lack of data.

Cutler's completion percentage is higher...both low 60s
Cutler's QB rating is higher...but neither great (light years below a Romo for example)
Cutler's ypa is higher
Eli and Cutler both have interception rates in the 3.2-3.3 range....so fairly high...15-20% worse than Romo, for example.

Eli got to play on a few all-around teams that were far better...to his great fortune
