Report: Jacobs, Giants close to new contract

According to the Bergen Record, a four-year extension for Brandon Jacobs could be completed "any day now."

A response to Ahmad Bradshaw's troubles? Jacobs recently returned to Albany to continue contract negotiations. The Bergen Record's report that a deal is close contradicts a Newark Star-Ledger piece from a week ago.
