Former Illinois running back Rashard Mendenhall was drafted last month by the Steelers. And Mendenhall likely is anxious to move to Pittsburgh, pronto.

Mendenhall was robbed at gunpoint on Monday in Chicago, according to the Sun-Times. He surrendered his phone, cash, and wallet.

“It was obviously a scary moment,” his agent, Mike McCartney, told the Sun-Times. ”But he is fine. He is doing great. He said he doesn’t have anything that is worth his life.”

i don't think he was saying that, i think he was saying, was he walking around with a shirt made of money, letting everyone know that he has money, therefore making him more likely to be robbed

Robbers are more likely to rob someone they see with money, rather than the homeless looking man at the corner.
