Reports showing up all over the internet. Seems legit. Problem is, there's some sort of 60-day rule that they're trying to bypass. I think you have to wait 30 days per trade and Bennett will have been traded twice in the same day. Something like that.

Anyway, I don't know how I feel about it. I like it for the Sixers because they're acquiring a lot of young talent while continuing to tank. Not really sure what Minny is doing. Thad is 26 years old and a solid player, but him and Rubio aren't enough to help Minny win, so they'll most certainly get a top pick next year. And Thad's contract expires after next year (plus rumors have it he wants to play for a contender), so Minny will most likely only have him for a year. The only thing this really tells me is that Minny had absolutely no interest in Bennett and all the interest was in Wiggins. In that case, I would have asked for Waiters or Thompson in the trade instead.

The Sixers still won't be able to beat the Spurs.

I'm a sixers fan, and I'm on the fence. Thad is a wonderful role player, and team guy. But he will probably leave for a contender after this season.
I would much rather flip him for a 1st... middle or late.
I'm not a fan of AB's game... he's a tweener, who can't guard bigs, not quick enough to guard 3's. His shot decision is questionable at best. He has no post game, and although he has a pretty explosive off the dribble game, he has to make jumpers to open it up.........
But, he has potential, tremendous athleticism, and long limbs, so I guess it's worth it to rent him. If he don't live up, he will be gone before year four... no way the Sixers pick up the option of the first pick of the draft if he doesn't live up... too expensive.......... and if they flip him... they will get pennies on the dollar...

Here's to AB playing a lot better than I expect.... I'm more excited about Embiid next year, and Saric the following year(Saric can ball, play 3 or 4 @ 6'10")

Funny, we're on the opposite ends! Btw, Thad has a player option after this year.

Man Lavine, Wiggins, and Deng is one heck of a young core... hope the wolves don't mess it up.
