My hopes for the rest of the draft. I listed 3 players per round that I would be really happy to get. (Not in any particular order)

Round 2: Marqise Lee (WR, USC), Timmy Jernigan (DT, FSU), DeMarcus Lawrence (DE, Bosie St.)

Round 3: Will Sutton (DT, ASU), Lamarcus Joyner (S, FSU), Telvin Smith (OLB, FSU)

Round 4: Josh Huff (WR, Oregon), Walt Aikens (CB, Liberty), Kareem Martin (DE, UNC)

Round 5: Ken Bishop (DT, Northern Illinois), Will Clarke (DE, WVU), Jerick Mckinnon (RB, Georgia Southern)

Well according to Watkins at ESPN Dallas, the Cowboys have issues at CB..... so a CB or two are in order. Nevemind that we have spent a whole lot on the position already. I wouldn't use a 2 day paick for a back up CB.

Selecting Ealy, Jernigan and Lawrence are possibilities because each visited Valley Ranch during draft visits. The Cowboys could also create competition at linebacker and have a value in Jackson, who didn't visit the Cowboys. The secondary has some issues especially at corner and if Jean-Baptiste is around that's a good pick to compete for a backup corner spot. The Cowboys are trying to create competition and get younger on this team, especially with coach Jason Garrett in the final year of his contract and the team believing Tony Romo is in his prime.

If we take a CB in the 2nd round to compete for a "back up" CB spot, that would be idiotic. You can still get starter caliber talent in the 2nd round.

still issues at CB huh? Well OScan is serviceable and Carr was disappointing but a good part of that can be blamed on the dline. Mo has been bad...hurt and bad quite frankly. LSU kids seldom pan out for whatever reason
