That's not necessarily true. I've read and heard a lot of stories from the combine about them being extremely rough with the players at their medicals. Gurley actually skipped getting checked at the combine because of it and I'm pretty sure I remember reading about someone getting hurt from them over twisting a hurt knee.

You would think that a guy who played for Nick Saban, a man who prepares his players as well as any coach in the college game, would be smarter than this.

I love Foster's feistiness and aggression on the field. Clearly, he needs to learn how to better channel that off the field. The combine typically doesn't break a candidate, but this certainly won't help him.

Saban is no doubt a great coach but he's been known to be very lenient when it comes to off the field issues. For instance Tim Williams is admitting to multiple failed drug test but was never suspended. How?

The drug test failure issue happens more than you would think. Gregory reportedly failed three tests at Nebraska, and never missed any time as well.
