So how do y'all like him now? The golden rule will lead us right more often than not. Give a rookie three years to prove his worth. Either he will adjust to the NFL environment or he will fail in a way that sticks out like a sore thumb. Give my boi some love. He has become that contingency for a sophomore in Claiborne that is dealing with the ills of adjusting to the NFL style of play. I'm so thankful we didn't jettison OScan early. With 5 years under his belt, he is playing like he belongs and it's a sight to see. The key to a great defense is flexibility. You have to be able to improvise and plug players in because it is virtually impossible to keep everyone healthy.

Looks much better. Plays better on the outside. Probably because the slot is more difficult, but doing better there too.

Let me help you. Most don't need this but those that haven't been around long do.

I love to key on a specific player and follow his progress. Many times that is manifested here on the board. I typically gravitate to underdogs that everyone else takes solace in beating up for whatever reason...

My bois in historical order:

Julius Jones (dumbed down by ridiculous micromanagement)

Terrell Owens (regularly misunderstood)

Orlando Scandrick (always treated as the redheaded stepchild to the Mike Jenkins lovers.. Yet he's STILL CONTRIBUTING)

DeMarco Murray (contrary to popular belief, he runs to "daylight" behind real blocking)

So there you have it. Chop it up & let it marinate.

So for those keeping track.. Orlando Scandrick is now BS's "boi".. not Tashard Choice, not Demarco Murray.

I know its hard to keep track.. all the same though, i'd still rather have Jenkins.

Choice as well.. I'll admit I may have been a bit off about him but the others deserve(d) our full support.

Not sure where he went, the guy was statistically one of the best nickle corners in football last year. If not the best.

Easily the most underappreciated player on the team. People hate on the guy but there are thirty-one other NFL teams who would kill to have a guy like him on the roster.

I was high on Choice too but I think he had some attitude issues which held him back. Plus he turned out to be an average NFL RB.

Scandy was obviously appreciated by mgmt since they let Jenkins walk and paid Scandy and he is paying off. He covers and tackles well it's hard to find both in a CB.

TO I won't get into too much - great great WR obviously but he had problems with everyone everywhere. After a while it's not being misunderstood it's just being a jackbutt.

Eh, you started this thread to pat yourself on the back, imo.

Oh hey, by the way.. how do you like Sean Lee, Dez, Bruce Carter, Romo, Witten, and Tyron Smith now?

All.. my boi's.

Hmmm. I love them all. But I still root a little harder for the underdog.

Pat pat pat...

I don't hangout in the game threads. Too much else to do on gameday. I praise you for praising him though. Do you.

I've praised scandrick in the game threads, I don't need to do it just to bring attention to myself.

I think you need to look up what the term "underdog" means.

Julius Jones.. not an underdog.

TO.. def not an underdog.

DeMarco Murray.. not an underdog.

Traditionally not underdogs but once this boards gets ahold of them things change drastically. Keep trying.
