Four posters seem to hit a bull's eye with their analysis. :)

Congrats to Payton. I am sad to see him go. We never got to really see what he could do since he was smothered by Parcells.

Good for him. I've said it before -- to accomplish what he has done with the crap O-line we had this year involved some very very good work. He'll be even better when he isn't calling plays with an eye toward pleasing BP.

Congratulations to Sean. I think he's a good football coach, and I think the Saints will be better off for it. That's not that bad of a team that they have. With a little coaching and some good luck (and they are due for that), they can be right back in the thick of things again.

Bill has been on payton back all the time Payton was not free in his play calling so my opinion of Parcells is not that all too good so far . .As far who will be our new OC. Bill Percells will be our new OC as he has been .I bet you Payton was happy to go

True. But how about accountability. Fassel and Bill were wrong about this guy.

Fassel should have let him run the WHOLE offensive show. Ditto for BP.
