on the ticket now (I think a replay of Norms show) and thought Garrett would make a good choice. he talked about several people and said Jerry needs to hire a offensive guy

said Garrett is highly thought of around the league and "going young" is the way of the NFL more and more. He said it wouldnt shock him if it happens and could be a good deal

Is this for the offensive coordinator or head coach role?

Name two that are available. And please don't be stupid enough to say Weis, Cowher, or Fisher because those guys aren't available.

I just think the Dallas Cowboys can do better then hiring a guy whose biggest responsiblity as a coach up to now has been a qb coach ..As an OC, I would give him a try but as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys..he is not ready..no way!

Garrett for OC is a very good idea.

That would be ok I guess. But here is the problem. Lets say he can't do it, that means the HC had better be ready to take over those duties. I don't see that HC out there. We need experience across the bored.

Why do you people think he can't be a head coach before he is a coordinator? I can name alot of " hot" coordinators who never amounted to squat. Apparently he has something because he has been asked to go several places and the dolphins always say no.

Martz??? I'm friend with Marc Bulger and while he acknowledges that he's a great offensive mind, he's terrible at everything else.
Norv Turner. what is he 30 games under .500?
Rex Ryan or Rivera would be good choices. How much better than Garrett would they be?

I'm quickly warming up to the "Garrett for anything" wagon. Just keep Norv far far away from Valley Ranch.

All I'm saying guys..I want a guy that has actually called a play as a coach in the nfl to take over the team I root for. We are talking about the highest profile coaching job in sports. I just don't think he's ready.. As an OC..I'm onboard.

Amazing how people are warming up to a guy who has not proven a single thing in the NFL as a coach yet, just because he's young and used to play for us.

Unreal...
