Where was Dallas connected to that $9 million offer to Ware?
Ware said he had a 9M offer on the table and I saw some tweets that folks were assuming it was Dallas. Who knows if true if it was from dallas

Yeah, I'd be hesitant to simply assume that it was Dallas.

Kind of miss the good old days when rumors like this couldn't explode because the information was never out there for people to latch onto.

The guy is in his prime now (25 to 30) and his contract ends when he exits his prime. (2018 is the last year on the contract)

Trading for him would be an easy trade for contract reasons.

He's towards the bottom end of his prime. I agree his contract is favorable to make the trade, but by the time his contract ends, he'll want another sizeable contract. That's what makes it possibly prohibitive in doing so. And I believe given our draft order, the Seahawks will want more than a first rounder from us for him.

Smart teams unload expensive players on the downside of their careers. Dumb teams sign those players and suffer in the end for it.

Don't even have to unload them, just threaten to.

You see what happens when teams do that, they shake up the culture.

I wonder why Seattle hasn't got the message to "do right" by their iconic players and how that pays off.

He's towards the bottom end of his prime as he turns 29 at the end of the month.

For a 2nd rounder, I would take him. But, that's not going to happen.

I wouldn't give up a second rounder for him. He grabs way too much. He would never get by with doing it that much as a Cowboy.

He is getting long in the toooth for a CB.

I'd rather have a grabby playmaking CB that tackles well than a non-grabby non-playing CB that doesn't tackle well.

Being grabby really doesn't bother me much because the refs miss more of those calls than not (even for the Cowboys). Unless you're Brandon Browner bad, you're likely to get away with it.

The problem is value. We may get the value out of him for 2 years, but likely end up extending him a new contract and we won't get that value. And i doubt we'll get him for just a 1st rounder.

If he was offered for a 1st rounder and get a physical on him and he passes with flying colors, I would consider it if we can get out of the contract by the end of 2018.

I would want his production, but I wouldn't want the rest of what he is. Usually I can grow to like players I used to hate once they become Cowboys. With him, probably not. He is so pompous and arrogant.
I would add to those adjectives, low-class and uglier than Maya Angelou in drag.
