Richard Sherman to Skip Bayless on 1st Take: “You’re Ignorant, Pompous & Egotistical”

Richard Sherman just ethered Skip Bayless on 1st Take and you are partially right, but you are missing the bigger picture. This is what Skip Bayless wants. because 1st Take is nothing more than the WWE at this point.

Bayless is Vince McMahon, Stephen A. Smith is Virgil and they have some other jobbers to fill out the roster. So, when a Richard Sherman plays the role of Stone Cold Steve Austin, we all get a laugh out of it, but the fact remains as long as people watch and report on it, it is just feeds the beast that is Skip Bayless.

Haha. Sherman does love to talk, although it is completely true he does back up his talk with his play and numbers. It was a little overboard when he said "I'm better than you at life" though. Still, pretty funny.

I hate Skip. He's the %$#@&^%$ that put out the rumors that Aikman was gay. He was trying to bait Sherman, and Sherman made him look like a fool. My respect for Sherman has went way up. I hope Claiborne will have his cockiness someday soon.

Again, like I said. Skip was the one who tried to destroy the Cowboys in the 90's. He was the one who came out with the rumors that Troy was gay and a bunch of other crap. I have no respect for him. To see someone destroy him whether it's a Seahawk or Cowboy is pure pleasure to me. The guy is a piece of garbage. Go Sherman!

Skip took it and tried to continue and ask questions and Sherman couldn't be the bigger man and hold himself in a professional manner.

To me he looked childish. And he is a great young talent, but he is far from football greatness. He talked a lot of trash the week of the Seahawks/Falcons game and then Roddy White burned him deep for a TD, and Julio did the same.

Sherman had a good season, 1. He got away with alot of clutching and grabbing as did IMO the Buzzards in general. Also we shall see if this was just a "Lights out" year.

Right before he came on, Skip went on a senseless rant saying he was not in the same league as Revis. Earlier in their show, he also baited Sherman by saying he better not come on there acting quiet when he runs his mouth all the time.

I think Sherman was heated and wasn't about to fly off the handle. Skip was definitely taunting him earlier in the show and was hoping for an overreaction. I think people forget that this is Sherman's job and someone is calling him out. If you were at your job and some outside source that is known for spewing ridiculous statements was challenging your ability after a career year you would be pissed to.

Sherman is a good guy and he might run his mouth, but I would take him over Revis any day of the week. Revis is a "Me" player and never looks out for his team.
