Richie pays for sex and gets fired.... Pacman/Little/Lewis were all involved in one way or another with murders/shootings yet they continue to make millions..... I guess position coaches don't get a second/third chance.

Wow. A player would never be cut for this, at least a starter. I don't know if I would necessarily fire someone for something like this, but then again, my company isn't as high key.

I think the feeling is that he didn't go out on a whim and try and hire a prostitute, it is likely a lifestyle that has come to light and not an isolated incident.

Plus Ariziona doesn't want TV commentary linking a coach of theirs with scandal.

I love how espn and sporting news on the radio reported it as former cowboys running back.....the guy was a coach for the jets last year and played all but 2 years in the league with the jets...and they say former cowboy in the headline...

ridiculous.

With a new coaching staff coming in, trying to set a tone for the team and trying to build credibility, you bet you fire the guy. I was surprised he wasn't let go immediately.

Fair point. Still it just urks me when a coach does something and they're fired for it with no no second thought. Yet a player can kill somebody and get a fat paycheck, if one of the cardinals players gets caught trying to pay for sex they better release him too that's the way I see it.

From a personal standpoint it is harsh. From an employee management position it is the right call. Coaches have to be held to a higher standard. Their credibility, discipline and judgment is at stake as they have to influence players to do their best and even behave off the field.

The coach in Detroit that got caught drunk and naked has 9 lives.

and then we make ESPN look better by talking about it on a Cowboys forum.
