Ring of Honor - "Crazy" question

This is gonna sound strange. The ring of honor has mostly Hall of Famers - great cowboys players and Tom Landry. Can't remember if Tex Schramm is there but obviously he should be the King of the Ring. Why stop there? What would you think about putting Crazy Ray there? I know I know its whacked to consider it, but I cannot think of Texas Stadium without Crazy Ray. To me personally he is much a part of the Cowboy lore as Bob Lilly, Tony Dorsett and the others. I rank him higher than that guy at the Jets stadium, the Hog fans in DC and any other notorious "super" fan. I've started going to games since 1977 and I cannot think of Dallas and Texas Stadium without him.

I can see his name there with his silly Cowboys white vest logo next to it.

Am I crazy to consider this? or is the ring THAT exclusive.

It is that exclusive. Name a luxury box after him and other very good Cowboys who are not Ring worthy. Name a urinal after Rowdy.

Well since there are many Cowboys greats who are not in the RoH I would say that yes, it is THAT exclusive.

Ding Ding Ding...except the urinal idea....how about the place they hold the toilet paper instead.

You know the old saying..I wouldn't pee on (insert name here) if he was on fire...you can insert the Rowdy name. :D

Won't happen. It's for players and it's coaches like Tom Landry, maybe one day Jimmy Johnson.

Crazy Ray is a part of Cowboys folklore, but we don't need to be celebrating mascots in the ROH!

I boldly stated at the time he was inducted that I didn't think MI belonged in the ROH.

I felt we lowered the standards to put him in. (I got blasted !)

Now if all of this recent crap turns out to be true, I think we should take him out.

Or change the name and drop the "Honor" part.

But no, Rowdy doesn't get in.
