I feel like I read his articles on ESPN.Com more than anyone else.

Just felt like he had most of the production covering the Cowboys and league.

Not that many national journalists I enjoy, but him along with Peter King were good ones.

I heard a story on SC about his days back in Pittsburg when he covered the Steelers in 1978'.; He watched a Steelers mini-camp practice session and noticed that they were wearing pads [against NFL regulations]. He wrote about it in his article and got the Steelers and HC Chuck Knoll in some serious trouble. As a result of violating the ancient rule of NO PADS IN MINI-CAMP the Steelers had to forfeit their N0. 3 draft choice in 1979. GOOD JOB PROFESSOR.. You'll be missed.
