Ro is a very important piece for this defense IMO. It was night and day vs. the run when he was in and when he wasn't. Lee is a great player, but I don't feel he brings the same kind of physical play to our defense that it seems to lack when Ro is out. I really hope that he can have a productive season for us.

He brought a "tough guy" mentality that seemed to spread to the other players. They surely weren't talented, but played with confidence and moxie-chip on their shoulders. His attitude out there was more refreshing than anything else (compared to the days of helping QBs up after sacks, etc.)

Name all the other teams that wanted him? After the 2013 season when he was a free agent he was forced to sign a 1 year deal with the Raiders because he received no interest from anyone else.

Every 3rd and 1 that falls short, every 4th and goal that calls for a run that is not converted, every fumble by a RB, every missed blitz pickup by an RB, ect, ect, ect, ect, we will have to hear it from a select group of people (you know who you are) that seem to side more with vindication than our running game being successful.

As much as I hate seeing this as well, just get used to it. I imagine we will be seeing Dmac redshirted though out camp, with several reports just like like this.
I dont believe for a minute that he has any issue with his hammy, and everyone should just relax a bit.

Noooo I believe where there's smoke there's fire. They could have taken it easy with in to start camp, but to put him on the PUP tells me he can't practice at this time. RB's need's reps. especially when he is in a new offense. I had low expectations when he was signed so I'm not entirely surprised.

I haven't seen Murray's name mentioned before right now in this thread, so it's two entirely different things. But the worries and criticisms that came with the McFadden signing have been here since the beginning. And continue to be justified.

I'm personally not about to apologize for that.

McFadden has averaged playing 12 games per season. DeMarco Murray has averaged playing 13. They both played 16 last season.
