I think it was kind of self explanatory.

I don't feel like he did. It is a salient point that coaches see things differently than fans. Do you disagree with this?
Fans here have been screaming for 2nd half adjustments, but a coach says he doesn't make many of them and prefers not to make any, and somehow fans want to change what is working or suddenly make that a reason for every failure.
Coaching is hard. I speak from experience there. Rob Ryan is doing a good job. I wasn't keen to his hiring, but I will give the man credit.
I don't know if you are intentionally angling it this way or not. I'm hoping you just misinterpreted what he appears to be saying.
IMO, he wasn't saying anything about disliking making adjustments or being opposed to making them. In fact, he said that he usually doesn't wait until half time and makes adjustments all throughout the game.
"You really don't want to make many of them. If you don't make many of them it means you're doing a good job. We're not going to adjust on anything until we have to"
This statement appears to be more about the implications of not adjusting than it does any sort of personal stance on adjustments. I don't know if you intentionally dismissed the context of the quote in the OP or not. Based on the first of your quotes above, I'm guessing you missed it because you omitted the part of the quote that gives his entire statement context.
IMO his statement reads,
"If you're doing a good job you don't have to make adjustments so we would generally like to avoid making adjustments (implying good performance) and won't do so until the offense forces us to"
If you're not making adjustments, it's because you're winning the battle. That's a far cry from saying he flat out doesn't want to make them or prefers not to make them from some sort of inherent philosophical stance independent from what is happening on the field.
Honestly, I doubt he cares about making adjustments and is probably more concerned with why he is or is not making the adjustment. If he sees something in-game he thinks he can take advantage of and it is something that wasn't initially in the gameplan, I'd be willing to bet he'd adjust and attack that weakness. Furthermore, he'd probably get a big tent in his pants to see it work out and produce a big play for his team. OTOH, if the offense comes out and shoves his game plan right down his throat with ease on their first possession I doubt he would avoid adjusting.
"We usually don't wait 'til halftime, we adjust all during the game"
Shortly after talking about not wanting to make adjustments.
I don't think the situation is as clear cut as your quote earlier makes it.
