Didn't say 4. Said 1st round. I love how some people here are literally so against it. Like it would be the biggest mistake ever. As of right now, McFadden is our only RB. Dunbar hasn't signed, Dunbar is gone, so we are going to go into the season with McFadden and Rod Smith? Oh ok.

You forgot Ben Malena, lol.

we can easily replace Turbin with a 3rd or 4th round pick who can take over as bell cow if needed. Remember Murry was a 3rd round pick and we can get a scatback with one of our many 6th round picks to replace the UDFA Dunbar.

and im not against move down to get Zeke but im not going to take just any trade down offer to get Zeke. The trade must be worth it. Get a mid round back this year and take one of the 6 big time RB's coming out next season with our 2nd round pick.

I dont see Zeke happening because where we would have to draft may be over the dollar threshold of what they want to pay a HB.

Not gonna say it wont happen, but I dont see it

The wage last season for the 7th pick was 14 million. Total. Im sure we can live with that for 5 years.

Ouch......And if Dunbar goes to SF????.....

No ouch at all. This will finally force our hand to taking two backs in this offseason (one in the 4th or sooner round and one later round/UDFA/FA...like we almost had in Rawls). Dunbar took 3 injury riddled years to show a little sumpin'-sumpin' (and then get injured again) and Turbin had some flashes but not enough to stick with 3 different teams. There's a whole ocean of oil under our feet! No one can get at it except for us!

I'm sure Jerry is on the phone to see if Joseph Randle is available......

<Intercom at Dillard's Cologne section>
"Attention shoppers. Attention shoppers. If there is a Joe Randle in the store, please visit your nearest service center for an important phone call."

It would be.

Do you actually want to pay more money than you refused to pay Lamar Miller and have to use the #4 overall pick on top of it? That's moronic.

We almost have to draft a running back fairly high now (1-3 rounds) because after McFadden we have nothing.

If McFadden goes down week 2, who is the starting RB currently?

My point exactly.

Tyler Clutts that's who!! :)

The Eagles will be happy to take him 4 picks later.

so now have no backup QB and no backup RB with an aging QB with serious health concerns and a aging RB who has trouble staying healthy too.

yes it is either get those in the draft or bottom of barrel in FA after the draft.
Wentz Elliot, and Jack, if they can get those three would be good haul for early rounds.
