Don't underestimate the importance of the Marinelli factor. This guy is the most vocal def coach/ leader we have. Has some dudes off the street playing ball and is headed Chicago to face his former team. I expect a BIG day for our def line.

I hope he has something special for them, but not because he was from there, but because we need the win....and, I want to see the Rat fail (of course)

gotta love sub-plots to games

Sure hope they can get to the QB..Chicago has the type of WR's to give this defense fits. Brandon Marshall is historically a Cowboy killer, Alshon Jeffrey presents the same kind of threat.

Alshon Jeffrey frightens me, that's a big dude... Not to take away from marshal who is also a very large dude

I'm having flash backs or Marshall when he was in Denver :( he always has a big game against us

My guess is Scandrick matches up with Jeffrey and Carr will be on Marshall. My question is who matches up with our receivers?

You could just flash back to last year lol

I don't like our defense in this one, regardless of how fired up Marinelli might be able to get them.

Scandrick on Jeffrey will be an absolute nightmare b/c Scandrick has awful ball skills. Claiborne would be a better matchup....but its going to come down to our safeties making some plays here and there if we want to stop those guys.

Forte out of the backfield has also been a huge problem. Carter has been awful picking up his guy from the backfield. See Woodhead against SD.

I'm hoping our offensive plan is one that doesn't play the normally ultra-conservative game that we've become known for against the Bears. Our defense is likely to have its problems containing the Bears offense no matter who the QB is. Romo and our guys will simply be obliged to outscore the Bear offense and that'll present quite a challenge in itself. We'll aslo be obliged to play our best game on both sides of the ball to pull a win out of this one. Understand that's not to say we probably won't but rather it means we'll be seriously challenged. Here's hoping we're up to it on the road against a foe that's about our equal. It should be interesting to see how we respond.

Regardless of the number of catches their wr's have, the game will be won in the trenches. An I believe our DL comes up big in this one. My gut feeling.
