The bottom line is that intentional or not doesn't matter, however, his response to being hit low was a natural one. According to the rules, he had to be penalized but it was primarily bad luck for a guy that was doing what he was taught to do - get your hands up if you can't get there.

that is not what I saw, it is easy sitting on your butt not playing the game it is a lot different having blockers and a very mobile QB to defend. Yes he messed up it was not intentional by any means.
