Thought it was interesting Packs GM made it a point that he never promised to trade Rodgers. Sounds like he's trying to get or maintain control. What I mean, Rodgers may wanna go to the Broncos but the Panthers or Commanders may offer packages way too good to ignore.

So he can be one and done in the playoffs for them also?

Good gamble for a good team though, pretty safe bet to make. The team needs to be set up to win, not a rebuild type team. Just a team with most everything in place.

I heard the Green Bay has such a terrible cap situation that he would make less if he stayed with them.

If he was smart he'd try to get to an NFC team now that Brady is gone. You don't want to deal with Mahomes, Herbert, Burrow, and Allen to get to the Super Bowl.

If he somehow goes to the 49ers, then they're the favorites in the NFC. The only thing that prevented the 49ers from winning it all was qb play
