I'm hoping for a different outcome. Dallas up 27-21 with no timeouts left for Green Bay and Zeke running out the clock. I don't think my anxiety can handle a 6 point lead with a minute left and Rodgers has the ball.

That's what I was thinking too. I want it more like 31-21.

Rodgers is in for a big surprise come Sunday. Although, l believe his talk is an attempt at some cheap pyschological warfare.

I think you might be right. When the Cowboys' OL starts dominating the Packers front 7 like they did the first time, he'll know he's in for a long day. Deep down, I suspect he knows it'll be all he can do to pull a win out of his bag of tricks come Sunday. Simply put, the Dallas OL has already proven that they're more than capable of dominating GB's front seven. I'm betting it's something that really doesn't bode too well for him.

If that's not enough, the Cowboys pass rush will be due for its very best performance of the year with all hands rested and healthy. The bye week was huge in making that so. Rodgers is experienced enough to be aware of the implications of that advantage. To make matters worse, they're a banged up team that isn't quite healthy enough for the matchup ahead. Even if they are, it'll still be tough. He knows he'll have his hands full.

Rodgers has poor character and is a complete jerk. Easily one of the most unlikable players in the NFL. Nothing he says seems authentic, except when he's complaining.

From everything I have seen, you've described the exact opposite of Aaron Rodgers. Poor character? This is the same guy who admonished a fan at Lambeau (guess which team the fan rooted for) for yelling out inappropriate things during the national anthem. Rodgers is a class act as far as I can tell. You've embraced the hate to such an extent you're starting to project it.

He has always been considered uber-confident and cocky.

If you go back and read why the 49ers picked Alex Smith over Rodgers in the 2005 draft, part of it was he didn't across as "likable" by 49ers coaches.

Coming from an organization that sunk over millions in Kaepernick, who is easily one of the cockiest players you'll find. Not even talking about his antics this year. 2 or 3 years ago someone compiled a bunch of his Instagram posts and contrasted them to Russell Wilson's. Basically a playbook of about how to be a dousche.

What is Dak supposed to do, throw in the towel before the game or ask JG to play Romo instead? We beat them once before this season and are playing at home where there will be relatively few cheeseheads. I like our chances regardless of how well Rodgers has been doing lately.
I agree

Rogers is playing very well. Placing the ball in tight windows, but I think the boys can win this game. I keep hearing how the packers killed the Giants who have a better defense. I think what I saw was a Giants defense that was holding down the Packers until DRC got hurt and things changed. It also didn't help that the Giants Offense could stay on the field.

They keep saying how the Packers aren't the same team. Well, neither are the Cowboys. We didn't have all our starters either the last time we played.

This is the same crap we hear every time wild card round happens. Some team looks like a world beater and then they go to the divisional round and get their ***** handed to them.

I go back to 2009. The Cowboys were hot. Knocked off an undefeated Saints team in December and went on a roll. They stomped the Eagles in the wild card round 34-14. A matchup with Minnesota was set for the next week.

Minnesota destroyed the Cowboys with an aging Brett Favre. All we got was a field goal.

We needed the time off. Now, we have our full compliment of players & there are no excuses. I don't care what Rodgers or anyone for that matter, says about us. WE control our own destiny. Win or lose, it's on US.

You must know nothing about the guy then. Read up on his personal life. Read up on his professional life. Ex-teammates, family members, etc. have all painted him as a complete jerk.

Then you see his attitude on the field, and his discount double check celebrations, and it all comes full circle. Do a little reading before making assumptions.
