Crennell has a bend-but-don't-break philosophy(he also comes from the Parcells-tree, so this is no surprise).

I'm sure he's a fine DC, but wrong for Wade's system. No thanks

It's Wade's defense and if you have first crack at him, you should still keep him as the DC.

We'll never get him as a DC but give me LeBeau over any of the other 3-4 coordinators. Belicheat is a HC so don't bring his name to me. As a DC in a 3-4 scheme LeBeau may even eat little Bill. That's DC and not HC, remember before I hear sqwacking.

Notre Dame is supposed to announce he's still on board. They may have already. Who knows, him and them are that important to me. I rather get McDaniel who is sure to be a HC next season. Norv Turner would be nice too but for some strange reason he may stay on as HC in SD depending on how they play the next 3 weeks. We'll know better about him after next week.

I hope we can Read. But if Phillips was willing to get fired over Ronnie Jones in Buffalo, how will he handle any pressure from up top to get rid of Read?

What about Dom Capers as DC if stewart is released. They wanted to bring him in to help this offseason but stewart was too much of a scaredy cat.

Also I don't think he is a DC with the patriots...just some kind of assistant or secondary coach.

I would have to say no. Crennel would automatically be an upgrade over Brian Stewart and that would be a bad thing.

Very real possibility.

He would only bring in a high profile name like that IF he would be Garretts chosen DC when Jones hands him the keys in 2010. If Garrett is not his man he more likely to let Wade fill the spot knowing it would be easier to clear house if things don't change.

Capers would be my pick . I don't know how bad Dallas really needs to make a change there though if Wade is going to be running the D . He really only needs a warm body .

Agree . I'd like to see Dallas bring in Mike Elston the special teams coach for the Cincinnati Bear Cats . Their special teams have been awesome .
