What I like is how rapidly the bar is rising for Romo.

At first, we wanted to see if he could just compete. Now, the doubters -- those that are left -- basically want to see him play like this against elite teams. Not only do they want a win, but a stellar, mistake-free performance from Romo.

For a first-year starter, the expectations are rising so quickly. That's a good sign. No one -- from fans, to coaches to media -- is dumbing down their expectations.

In 9 games Peyton has 18 TD's.
In 3 1/2 game Romo has 8 TD's.:D :D :D

So if he had played 9 games Romo would have about 24 TD's:laugh2:

I also noticed that our young stallion is l40 yards behind Bledsoe and has played in less than half the games.

How sad is that? Oh...what could have been. No matter...there's not looking backward, only forward. Let's see what #9 can do in front of the home crowd!

Love what Romo is doing but QB Rating is the most worthless stat in sports.

All on the road, too.

But Bledsoe was up over 100 for a long time last year, too. Let's hope this line stays healthy.

Mcnabb disagrees.

What really stands out to me is that he leads the league in yards per attempt ... very impressive.

Mcnabb said watch your back.
"McNabb" made a wise decision giving up on his ridiculous earlier statement.

He looks like he's trying to work some voodoo on me, there. If he tries hard enough, I might forget he's so un-clutch.

But lets get back to the NFC's top-rated passer, now. :D

That's the symbol for "watching your back"?

I thought he was trying to "walk like an Egyptian."

He plays for the Eagles.

Carson Palmer plays for the Bengals.

:lmao2:

I'm an idiot.

Romo leads the NFL in touchdown percentage.

He is also tied for the Quarterback that is less sacked.

He is also tied for 3rd percentage passes completed.

Not worthless. Not perfect, but certainly not worthless.
It just needs to be tweeked a little.
Give QB's something like a half credit rushing TD's scored while he's in the game. Throw out comp% and just focus on YPA.

YPA really tells the most of the story as long as the int% is good.

ROMO is number one in the NFL in YPA 8.78. McNabb is the only other QB over 8 with an 8.36.

I've said this over and over but anything over 8.00 YPA is truly exceptional.
