If the Cowboys did make a move this Offseason to replace Wade Phillips what Coach could they hire that would really help Tony Romo's Game ?

Give me a break already. The guy had a bad game. So what? You don't think all QB's have bad games? Everyone was raving about him this time last week. He had three inteceptions. One pass simply got away from him. One was a little behind the TE, but was a complete fluke, and the other was a bad pass. He still had us in position to win with 3 minutes left, in spite of those bad plays and all the things that went against us last night.

I'm not giving up on Romo...it's no big deal! Cutler threw 4 last week, and then went out and beat Pittsburgh this week.

Our problem is the defense!

As far as a coach...I'll take Holmgren.

Shanny will make Romo a winner

We don't have the personnel on the OL to run Shanahan's offense...

Probably need to look into acquiring a decent QB - Something we haven't done since 1989

Brian Billick............when he had a QB and recievers, he was virtually unstoppable. He won a superbowl with Dilfer, and not much else on offense.

I would take him over all the other Super Bowl winning HC out there right now.

Nobody is giving up on Romo just curious as to what Coach can get the most out of his talents and help him take his game to the next level.

Like I said Mike Holmgren, Jerry loves what he did with Brett in GB, and loves to think of Romo as the next Brett, add that to the fact that Jerry and Mike are close friends, why do you think Jerry didn't promote Carrot top this past offseason, he didn't want to go through changes two years in a row...

That's hard to say. Tough to coach up an erratic gunslinger. Romo's problems are the mental aspects of the game.

Billick, shanny, Holmgren are all has beens. Need new blood: someone like Rex Ryan would be nice: I would look hard at Ravens staff, maybe the Pats staff too.

In saying this do you think someone like Holmgren would keep Jason Garrett on staff or let him walk?

I have heard Jerry loves Cowher Power!

Cower will be in NC next year and Shanny will be in DC. as for the other question no Holmgren will not keep Jason Garret on staff if he does it will be because of Jerry and Jerry only IMO...

Due to the fact that we have to keep Romo no matter what, I'm thinking Shanahan would be best suited for bringing him along.

Romo's problem is he loses focus and becomes careless. He needs to realize there are only 16 games in a season. He needs to realize he can't continue to "Gamble" and take unneccessary chances during a game. It never fails, there's a point in the game when the Boys are clicking on offense and defense then bam Romo throws into triple coverage or heaves an ill advised ball 50 yds down the field directly to a saftey.

Romo needs to realize a game can turn on a dime. He needs to study Aikman and learn. Lead and control the ball. Aikman's in the Hall not because of his stats. Everyone here knows that

Wade isn't the problem with Romo. Romo is the problem with Romo. The only coach that would make Romo better is the coach that can find somebody who can suitably replace Romo. That would take some convincing and salesmanship on Jerry and Co. because we've invested $32 million guaranteed in Romo's future. And I can see Jerry's viewpoint that we should be able to get a coach that can make Romo into a great player, but we have zero chance of doing it because there's no threat of Romo losing his job.

It reminds me a lot of 'The Natural' when Pop Fisher tells Bump that he needs to shape up because they will replace him with Roy Hobbs. Bump shapes up (but unfortunately dies crashing thru the wall). We need a young Roy Hobbs.

Personally, if I was Wade I would get with Garrett and make sure that we are on the same page and then bring Romo in and say that we can't afford to see him blow games for the team anymore. And if Romo doesn't get the hint, then I'm bringing in Kitna.

You don't yank young, inexperienced future franchise QB's when they struggle because it will destroy their confidence. But Romo is far beyond the young and inexperienced QB. It's one thing to have an off day with accuracy (which is another concern I have), but it's another thing to be off and still make careless decisions. Personally I'm done with believing in Romo until he proves me otherwise. Until then, I believe we've got to find a way to replace him in a smart and affordable way. If I was offered a top 10 pick in some fashion for Romo and liked the the upcoming QB class I probably make that move.
