For the anti TO fans. The only person on this team that can get rid of TO is Romo. That said, it will not happen because Romo hasn't become a leader on this team. That is why TO is TO. If Romo had become the mature leader last year he would be able to speak for most of the team and say Jerry, in the best interest of the team..TO needs to get packing.

For all I know Romo may not want TO to go.

have to remember that Dallas was a running team back then. Aikman had 4 seasons with more than 15 TD passes; Romo is 3/3 as a starter with that stat.

a heavy emphasis on the run game would lessen pressure on Romo and maybe he'd not force silly passes and make dumb mistakes. But, IMO, having TO won't hurt him or the team either.

Looking at Romo 1st 3 years and putting them head to head with Payton Manning the numbers are pretty much on par. 1st 3 years Manning 85 TD 58 ints. Romo 81 TD and 46 ints. some of you guys can moan all day long about Romo if you want but the guy is a good QB and to get rid of him would be beyond stupid.

Romo was putting some simular numbers his 1st season without TO. TO is not making Romo look good. TO is a top WR and when he is not here Dallas will have to find some other talented player to help fill that void but then that can be said for all the QB's even Manning.

There probably would be a drop-off in pass production w/o TO, but hopefully our rushing yardage would increase without him. Without TO, we'd need somebody to stretch the field - maybe that's Austin.

Good thing is that this strategy would likely result in fewer turnovers and our completion rate and TOP would go up.

My mistake I was thinking Key and Glenn were the starting WR in Romo 1st year but it was TO and Glenn who were starting when Romo took over both having over 1,000 yards that season
