Sorry, but Tony doesn't just make "A mistake", he makes several.

Trying to equate a mispelled word to a QB who turns the ball over regularly is pretty far fetched.

Yeah rack, it's all Romo's fault. He's the one who dropped game changing / scoring passes. He's the one who allowed dlinemen and linebackers to come charging thru the oline. Romo is the one who runs wrong routes or gives up on routes and allows defenders easy access to the ball. It's all Romo.

That's true, and it is a reason why we should look to alter our offensive philosophy, IMO.

I think Romo would much more effective with a real running game to work off - like most QBs.

Anyway, Wade basically said the same thing in his PC end of the season - that we needed to rein Romo in, use more of a running game to cut down on turnovers.

Why it took all season for the coaching staff to realize this is beyond me, but maybe it's what they wanted to do towards the end of the season but Choice was the only healthy RB. I don't know . . . .

I agree that we need to run the ball more. We were 25th in the NFL in rushing attempts.

You are not going to go very deep in the playoffs when all you do is pass, pass, pass, ect.......

NOW, Tony Turnover can watch some game tapes and maybe learn how turnovers lose games,,,, maybe he can learn what not to do from Jake, Romo could do one better learn how not to turn the ball over from the ROOKIE, FLACO
Romo Doesn't care guys the only thing he cares about himself, and will never change.

I'm not one to be quick about jumping to a Players defense BUT for all of the Romo haters, What do you expect from a quarterback who is asked to throw 30-40 times a game and is running for his life on most of them? Our o-line blows! It isn't just overrated, it is vastly overrated. They can't run block and they damn sure can't pass block. We have penalty after penalty to continue to put us in long passing situatuations where Romo is again put in the situation where he has to run for his life. The sad part is that so many times he has pulled off a magical Houdini like act and makes a great play that fans think that this is normal. WELL IT'S NOT. Nobody, and I do mean nobody, could function efficiently behind the oline we have. So I ask you to consider this before your mindless rant against the best qb we've had since Aikman.

Alot of posters seem to how forgot that we went through 17 starting QBs between Aikman and Romo. Too many Madden players think you just draft a QB and he automatically gets better from just playing time.

It doesnt work like that. There is no 1-800-franchise QB line to dial.

For every Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco drafted, you also get Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf, David Klinger, Andre Ware, Jeff George, Michael Vick, Tarvis Jackson, Rex Grossman, Vince Young (yea I went there UT homers, your boy is riding pine in a playoff game), ect........

Romo may not be Payton Manning or Tom Brady, but he dam sure is better than any of the trash we have trotted out there since Aikman retired.

Delhomme has even fewer excuses than Romo. Delhomme plays in an offense predicated on the run and field position. In essence, he's protected by the offensive play calling...unlike Romo, who's exposed by the play calling.

good point, and to add in......I beleive our OLine is also exposed by the same type of play-calling, rather than let them wear down a def. over the course of a game via a pounding run game, they are exposed by a myriad of Blitz packages and speed rushers.

I would love to see JJones get some depth on the Oline....and have it good enough to do some in game sub's---ala a def. line to keep the Oline fresh---would need 1 OG and OT that could hold his own....heck it might even just be 1 player across the line.....plus then , in the event of a injury he is somewhat blended in already.

No way. Delhomme won playoff games in 2003 and 2005.

That means he's better than Tony Romo will ever be.
For now, but I believe Romo is going to be better in the long long, let's not forget he has only started around 40 games.
