Only way we trade Romo is if we actually believe he's NOT going to be good.

But, if we like him as much as reports indicate, then you don't trade said quarterback when your starter is 34 or so.

We have exactly 2 QBs and there is no one available to sign.

Why on earth would we trade either of the 2?

The way the Bucs season is going I would do it in a heartbeat. At this pace it's possible it could be a top 5 pick.

And what QB will you pick in the draft to replace Romo? And what QB will we pickup this season to backup Bledsoe?

Brady Quinn looks awful!

If we're really going to make a run?

To pick up a QB this season to back up Bledsoe: Vinny Testaverde or Drew Henson, they know the system.

Next year's draft? Use the top pick from the Bucs to draft a WR, OT, or monster DT. Use our own Second 1st round pick (The 32nd one, after we win the Superbowl) to pick Jordan Palmer.

I just do not see BP trading his prize project Romo........it would have to be for a #1 pick....which I do not believe TB would do....therefore, it will not happen

He does?

133 QB rating.

11 TD passes, 1 TD rushing.

Averaging over 270 yards passing per game.

His team is 3-1 against a rough schedule (12-4 opponent win %) to start the season.

That's your definition of awful? Seriously?

After watching much of his performance thru the Michigan State game.. YES.. he looks AWFUL! He couldn't hit wide open recievers, he made poor decisions, he dumped the ball off to his TE and RB's constantly.

He reminded me of Chris Simms when he played decent competition at Texas.

That 133 QB Rating puts him as the #43 QB in the Country in 1-A.
Completion Pct of 58.2 puts him at #61
Yds/Attempt of 5.9 puts him at #59
His 158 attempts puts him at #4 in the country... its no wonder he has so many yards because ND passes a HELL OF A LOT MORE than they run.

Not exactly as if he's lighting the competition up with his greatness when he's suppose to be the top QB prospect in the upcoming draft.

Top QB prospect is about a lot more than this. It's about ceiling potential.

5 TD passes against Michigan State with 2 in the final 8 minutes of the game is called stepping up.
