Tony Romo is our QB and I don't want Jerry messing with him. Why in the world would he involve Romo with Fox before a game when Romo should be concentrating on the Patriots. This reminds me of something similar Jerry did back in the 90s when we were winning SBs.

Romo Agrees To Shore Up NAFTA
October 15, 2007 5:27 AM
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox met with Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo before Sunday's game and the two exchanged gifts. Romo presented Fox with a signed football and a No.9 jersey.
Fox gave Romo a copy of his new book, "Revolution of Hope: The Life, Faith and Dreams of a Mexican President, which has a wonderful chapter on the Phillips 3-4.
Our friend and former colleague Carlos Nava of the Spanish publication Al Dia asked Romo about the encounter after the game.
"He speaks very good English," gushed Romo, who has vowed to learn at least two words of Spanish each day as Cowboys owner Jerry Jones ramps up his Latino marketing campaign.
For those of you interested, here are some of the highlights from Nava's exclusive interview with Fox:
On growing up a Cowboys fan.
I've followed the Cowboys since I was small. Even if I didn't always
have a lot of time to follow them, I made it a point to look up the results. All my life I've been faithful to León in soccer and the Cowboys in football. I've been to Texas Stadium twice already.

On the team's popularity in Mexico.
I told the Cowboys that the stadium is filled with Mexicans. Coming
down from the stands, I think there is more still, a lot of them from Nuevo
León, Chihuahua and Tamaulipas. It's wonderful.

How did Fox become a big Cowboys fan?

I'm a Cowboys fan because I myself am a cowboy. I have a ranch in Mexico. Jerry Jones invited me to the game because he knew I was in Dallas on
business matters, and I gladly accepted.

On his football career
I have not only been a fan of football, but I also played at a Jesuit high school in Wisconsin (La Crosse), where I took part in a student exchange program to learn English when I was very young.
