Romo has a 94.6 QB rating. Good right?

I'm a Romo fan, but he was awful in the second-half, just awful. And tht screen play, when he had Dez one-on-one on a 3rd down, was the dumbest play I've ever witnessed, especialy considering playing the odds. You needed a score anyways and you try that monstrosity. Whoever was the reason for that, needs to be slapped.

Romo had a bad 2nd half. That being said:

Dez dropped a big gain/possible TD & Dez had PI called on him negating a 22 yard pass.
Dunbar fumbled.
2 defenders dropped would be INTs.
And the defense couldn't get the ball back at the end... PI on Mo did not help.

and once again you are wrong. Play calling; the O line unable to get anything going as regards a running game; and stupid mistakes and penalties.
Those all have equal blame but as usual you blame Romo. Boring.

Once again I blame romo? I almost have never blamed Romo before. Get a clue.

Romo had an entire 2H...30+ some odd plays to figure out the chiefs defense and he couldn't do it.

You can blame other players for their 1 mistake. Romo made way more than 1 mistake.

Romo also threw a potential game sealing INt that nobody is talking about. Luckily for him it was called back for a bogus penalty.

He didn't stop there though, on the very next snap he tried to throw another one.

He played awful in the 2H. Call it like it is. Period

Romo didn't actually have a bad second half. He had a really bad fourth quarter.

I actually thought Tony played pretty well, but Dez kinda disappeared in the 2nd half..Probably because KC made adjustments..something we fail to do...but the last 3 or 4 minutes of the game, I was really confused as to what happened to Romo...after completing 10 or 11 passes in a row, he was completely off target and throwing stupid passed...behind the receiver...1 yard passes on 3rd down when they need 8 yards +...and the last play of the game totally pissed me off...go DEEP to Dez and let him try and m ake a play and break a tackle...He is one player that could do that...let the play maker, make a play...but you through it to your RB at the 1 yrd line(which i actually thougth he was going to be tackled in the endzone)...I did not underststand that at all...it was almost like Tony got hit in the head, within the last 4 minutes of the game, and totally forgot what he was doing out there....

That being said, we have to punch it in, in the red zone...we had it on the 1/2 yrd line,(the play Dez caught the ball, and his feet where in but he ball wasn't) that is where we lost the game...Cant run the damn ball!!!!!!

Absolutely unbelievable that some people can blame the defense yesterday.

Romo is untouchable to some. It's ********.

Romo is often blamed for too much. Yesterday's loss falls squarely on 9

I definately wouldn't blame the defense. To do so is stupid.

But to say it all falls on 9? Nah. I'm not buying that silly junk either.

Romo wasn't great, by any means, but he had a lot of help in not putting enough points on the board. Dez dropping a wide open pass isn't on Romo. Dunbar fumbling that ball isn't on Romo.

You definately put blame on Romo, as he's part of the offense that didn't do nearly enough, but I'm not putting everything on one player when there was plenty of people on offense who didn't do their jobs perfectly either.

Sure, you can find other players who screwed up 1 play each.

Nobody else screwed up 10+ plays like tony did

I dont think romo has been partucularly sharp in either game regardless of what his qbr is.

In fact he was down right awful the last three drives yesterday. I expect more from my franchise 100 million dollar qb. I dont think he will ever be the guy that can put a team on his back and win a game when it counts.

I agree 100%! Romo is a very good QB and I am glad we have him and not in a situation like they have in my hometown Cleveland where they will be most likely drafting another QB next year after just drafting one last year. Having said that I am not so sure he is the QB to get us over the top. I really hope I am wrong!

I confess that I didn't read the entire post carefully. But looking at your title and ending it's easy to think you are blaming the QB more than anyone else.
Romo didn't play great yesterday but neither did the entire offense.

So you read the title . blah, blah, blah, blah whap, whap wa . . .blah.. and ending.

I see.

I guess you didn't watch the game. Once the Chiefs figured out that Dallas wasn't going to run the ball, they started rushing 5+ on every play. Romo had a lot of pressure during the 2nd half. And in the first half, Fred let the NT through a few times resulting in pressure and a sack. If you're going to hate on Romo, get your facts straight.

Maybe so but if those others didn't screw up in some big spots then Romo isn't needed at the end because the Cowboys would have been winning and you could be winding out the clock.

That's why football is a TEAM game and not an individuals sport.

His ESPN QBR has sucked both games though... especially last week.

There's no question that QB has not been a particularly good position for us so far, but the question is, is Romo correctly executing the game plan by checking down and not taking risks or is he missing plays. Unfortunately, my TV isn't wide enough to tell me.
Cant put any stock in that when it had Peyton at like 7th in week 1.
