...and if he doesn't get it corrected we aren't going to accomplish anything this season.

Imo, his inaccuracy throwing the ball (mainly high) is mainly a result of poor mechanincs. You can't blame it on a sore back because he's had the problem since the Tampa Bay game.

I watched him closely on a replay when he overthrew a WR down the fiield. The angle was from behind the LOS. It was obvious he didn't set his feet and he threw the ball moving backwards and to the side.

I understand the pass rush can be the cause of that at times but I will never forget what Phil Simms said earlier this year on Inside the NFL. He said the main thing that concerned him about Romo was not the occasional int, it was the alarming number of inaccurate passes that he does not complete that should be routine throws for an NFL QB.

That was a shocking statement to me!

...has been quite obvious right from the start of the season.

There's two problems at play here IMO.

Romo has been inconsistent with his accuracy.

The receivers have not been fighting for more of the balls he has gotten to them.

Between the slightly off target throws, to the drops and the plain old missed ones it has been difficult for this offence to display a Drew Brees ala Saints like efficiency.

I'm not one to harp on the start of a team - rather I believe in seeing teams build through the season getting better.

But at some point I am going to begin to get itchy on the panic button. It's not time just yet.

He's terrible, bring in Kitna!!!!!

better yet, get a WR that can catch the ball above their head. I saw a lot of those WR's in the NFL yesterday. None of them had a star on their helmet!

By the way, Romo's pocket is atrocious. The T are letting people off the edge almost every time and Romo has to step up in the pocket almost every time and the middle is not holding it's ground and thus he has no room to step into throws.

You watch a NO game or a Indy game and see what kind of pocket they have compared to the Cowboys and get back to me!

The guy is not a good stand in the pocket qb - his strengths are his agility and ability to scramble and improvise. Roll him out of the pocket 4 or 5 times a game...let him scramble upfield a few times. It will change the dimension of his game and make it much more difficult on the opposing defense.

If we don't play to his strengths, might as well get another qb because he's going to be hot and cold in this scheme. He'll have really awful games followed by a suberb all star type game.

It's hard to watch right now.

Didn't you get the memo that said that Romo was infallible.

Romo has sailed some throws throughout the season and he also has skipped a few as well.I don't think it's all on Romo though,he's not the only player on the roster prone to up and down games.I think the inaccuracy is due to mechanics some of the time and poor route running on some others.Without being privy to some game tape it would be hard to distribute blame accordingly.

I think part of the problem with this team is their lack of attention to detail which contributes to the stupid mistakes that they seem to make at the most inoppurtune time.

Romos always been inaccurate.

Thats b/s.

His accuracy in 2006 and 2007, and before the injury last yr was spendid. He consistently put the throws right where they needed to be and was outstanding at hitting guys in stride, so they could make more yds after catch.

He's clearly been off this yr, and the vast majority of balls are high. Either he is concealing an injury we dont know about, or something else is wrong. But he definitely isnt as accurate as he was.

Romo's obviously not good at anything. It's amazing we've ever won a game with him.

If anything I think his accuracy has improved. Atleast now the throws that are off are just a little off, before you would see some real horrible throws right into the defenders hands.

So far We've lost one game becauese of his eratic play. I dont think we will lose another. The wr's need to step up and catch some of those tough passes. No excuses.

Romo hasn't played well the last two weeks...at least by the standards our fans hold him accountable to.

I'm sure we'll see better performances from him before the season is over. You can bet your mortgage on it.

...and on the bright side, at least we don't have Cutler.

Most of the games he has played this year he has been very accurate. I'll chalk it up to the injury a bit. We won and that's what counts.

I thik we learned that leaning on the run too much takes away what makes this team so explosive, the big plays.

We simply have to have a happy medium with enough runs to keep the defense honest and still give our offense a chance to hit the big play.

That's what the job of the Offensive Coordinator is.

I think Romo could be much more effective with some designed roll outs with some run options.

Thread of the year.

Romo thrives in other areas. Many good or great qbs arent the most accurate. Thats never been one of his strengths. He needs a wr who will go all out for the ball. He also could use a WR who gets open so he doesnt have to thread a needle every single throw.

We should cut him the same day we cut Roy. Both are dead to us now.

They won.. That is all I care about.

I am completely wishfully thinking, but, if somehow they make the playoffs, maybe win one. If that happened, I could care less how accurate he is not being.

I am not a huge Romo supporter, as is known, but, the dude has been accurate in his past. Just not playing well right now, nor is the case around him. This is still a team game. And that was a team win yesterday.

LOL< No doubt. Where the hell is Richmond Flowers and Chad Hutchison when ya need them!!!!
