When in doubt about anything in the NFL - follow the money.

The Cowboys are listed as a 1 point favorite Sunday. Considering the home team gets an automatic 3 points, Tony has single handedly moved the line 4 points.

Without him we would've clearly been a dog following last weeks dismal showing. That line is probably right I think it'll be a close game.

It's just too much to ask that he's sharp with throws and I can even see him bailing a little bit in the pocket (I would too) but his very presence should open up the running game against a poor run defense and his pre snap reads will put us in position to make some plays downfield.

We will win a close one.

To know how much Romo moved the line you'd need to know what a sans Romo Cowboys line would be.

Think Vegas very much knew he was playing this game, the opening line was pick 'em I believe. Looks like the early money or wise guys went slightly to the Cowboys, hence the move to Dallas -1 to try and entice money on Miami.

In other words: All I have to do is divine from what I know of you: are you the sort of man who would put the poison into his own goblet or his enemy's? Now, a clever man would put the poison into his own goblet, because he would know that only a great fool would reach for what he was given. I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But you must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.

I think he's pretty close. Miami -3 sans Romo. Cowboys have not been huge dogs in these Romo-less games. Rather surprised Romo didn't move the line more. Vegas is waiting to see if he is rusty

It was Miami -1 with Vegas already pretty much certain that Romo was playing, but when full confirmation came out, it got betted up to Miami +1.
I don't think there was a line with Dallas for sure without Romo.
I assume it would've been in the -4 to -5 range.

Inconceivable.

Lolol. That's not how it works...yes, home teams are awarded 3 points for home field..but that doesn't equate to the home team being 3 point favorites in every game...
