It sucks to lose, of course, but the silver lining is that we know we have a QB now. Romo wasn't the reason we lost.

No, not at all. Romo was the entire reason we were even in that game. He made great passes all day and regularly converted on 3rd down.

Dallas lost for the reason they lose most of the time. Too many mental errors.
Penalties and blown coverages.
And why was Ellis on Ware's side on that TD run by Portis? Ware runs him down easily. Ellis doesn't have a chance.

Romo is a positive. But I guess it just goes to show you that QB isn't the only issue with this team, which was kind of covered up by the fact that Bledsoe was playing terribly for us.

Tony is the real deal...as far as the rest of the team there are a bunch of pretenders.

Romo was awesome. I'm disappointed for him because he put us in position to win this game, and then we get a breakdown on special teams.

A lot of dubious reffing as well, but I expected that.

Amen had Bledsoe been in there it would been a repeat of last year.

Romo showed he was cooler under pressure than TO, and showed he was a better decision maker than his coach.

Romo doesn't deserve this team.

Has Bledsoe been in the game, I truly believe we get blown out.

Got to admit that I wasn't sure about Romo.

But Wow the guy can play.

I agree, its the mental errors that is killing us, we always find ways to ruin drives with all these friggin penalties. Our defense is soft also, the playaction killed us all day.

John Madden was right when he said that all the attention to Drew B took attention away from other moving parts on the team..that need work.

We lost, again, due to:
Can't make a play on D when we need to ( we stilll need some players)
Too many penalties and mental errrors ( this is a coaching issue)

The above reason seem to surface over and over. If not for Romo, we would have been killed, ala the Giant game.

So Jerry wouldnt say, but is there an option for Romo's contract that we could pick up to extend him beyond 2007?

I'm ashamed that our defense is this sorry. I know TO dropped the pass, and he is 1st to blame in my book, but also Roy Williams gives up another deep play, then a perfectly thrown pass to Roy Williams, goes straight thru his hands.

How many clutch passes did we give up today? Zimmer needs to go, Parcells needs to go. We need a coach that is going to unleash a defense the Cowboy fans can be proud of.

BTW, Ellis needs to be in the nickel only...
