You have to be kidding me. If we lose this game and we happen to play Philly in the wild card game we are finished. So the Saints game wont matter really. It was bigger than this game is but not by much. We HAVE to beat Philly.

Wait, maybe I'm bass ackwards here, but if we lose to Philly isn't there no chance of facing them again in the wildcard? If they win, they're the No. 2 seed and out of our way in the wild card round.

Only if Vikings lose against the Giants this week, I believe.

You would be correct. A Philly win gives them the #2 seed and the Cowboys the #6 seed no matter what else happens.

I thought Romo haters were extinct.

At the first hint of a bad game, they'll come crawling out of the woodwork.

I've been a strong supporter of Romo since I saw him as the third QB in a preseason game years ago. I remember calling my uncle, another big cowboys fan, and saying "This kid is gonna be good, he looks comfortable and he is going through progressions like a vet."
I spoke the name Romo two seasons before the rest of the world knew his name and people remembered. I will always support that kid, as I believe he gives his heart and soul to this team. I believe he leaves everything on the field, good or bad. If we, the fans of the single greatest, most glorious, sports franchise in the world are to see another Championship anytime soon, rest assured it will be on the shoulders of #9. We just have to believe.

Romo's downfall in December had more to do w/ a bad OL and receivers that had no clue. He made mistakes, but wasn't the reason we lost. :)

I agree. Last year in Dec he was sacked 12 times in that month alone this season 7 times that does not include the hurries and knock down from last year to this.

Either way, if Dallas loses Sunday I don't see them winning a playoff game. If they win I will put money on it that they win a playoff game. I already told all of my friends if Dallas wins I'm gonna win money from them no matter who the opponent is. This is a must win, I don't care what anybody says.

I don't wish harm on anyone, but there are certain individuals in this thread that I'd dance a little jig in the event that it did.

Not true, if Philly wins against us they get the 2nd seed.

I've been hard on Romo this year, but I'm far from a Romo hater. He's a Cowboy, so he's my QB.

I'm still not drinking the kool aid though. While these last two wins have been great, they hardly stand as proof that Romo can win the big game against a good team.

New Orleans just got beat by Tampa Bay, and they were struggling before we played them. The Commanders are all but shut down.

Romo has played well during this stretch. Having only one turn over is key. He seems to be more accurate with the his passes as well. I still think this offense is leaving too many plays and points on the field though.

There have been some drops by receivers. Roy Williams has no confidence at all and is clearly being game planned by Garrett as a number two or three guy at this point. Many more sets where Roy is not seeing the field.

Barber is not our best option at RB. Hopefully someone sees this and we see more Felix and more Choice. Against Washington I think we started to see this. Felix got more carries. Now if we could just get choice a few more, and not just from the failureback.

I said it a month ago. Until Romo and Garrett can beat a good defense and make plays when we absolutely have to have a play made, then I'm still on the fence with them.

Things seem to be trending in that direction. I hope they continue to do so. I hope we have an elite QB on this team that can lead this team for seasons to come.

He at least has a chance to prove it. We're in the playoffs baby. He is in a position to cast away any shadows of doubt anyone has by leading this team to some post season victories. I'm hoping he does.
