He's only played 48 NFL games.

I'll stick with him.

He did start to look like his old self in the last 8 minutes of the game which gives me a glimmer of hope, but this team needs to draft another QB by the fourth round next April. Not only do they need a suitable backup, but they need to start thinking about a replacement in a couple of years if Romo keeps pulling an A-Rod.

I think that Chase Daniel will be available for us. I think he is under rated, and will make a good pro with time to develop. He was probably the best high school QB this decade in all of Texas. He broke all kinds of records at Missouri and had them competitive in the Big 12 when they usually are Baylor type fodder.

He would be a steal. 2 or 3 years as backup to Romo would probably have him ready to take over if Romo still hasn't put it together by then. 2 to 3 more seasons is also more than ample chance for Romo to redeem himself.

good post, this offense did not click well for most of last nights game.

so ask yourself with all of this talent/is it the OC/QB/QB coach or the recievers just not getting seperation.

I have lost faith in Garrett, to me he coddles Romo too much. I dont think Jerry would get rid of Garrett due to his loyalty and justifying all of the money he spent.

I am more concerned that revamping this coaching staff is going to set things back furthur/ tuff spot to be in:(

Owens is getting open now. He has been for the past few weeks. Even though I don't have coach's film, I've studied it quite intently. He's running his routes well and getting seperation, but Romo can't find him or misses him on the pass or when he throws to him it's when he's actually covered :bang2:

Not sure about the other receivers since passes to them are not focused upon as much as passes to Owens by the TV networks. It's not all Romo's fault, I'm actually typing a post in blog about what I'm seeing from the offense from my game charting notes.

There's always good QB's available by the 4th round. I like Daniel a lot too. He'll have to work at it a lot because of his size. That's what happened to Drew Brees. He had great accuracy but his first few years he really didn't work at it like he needed to and struggled early on. Then he really focused himself and has been great ever since.

I detest talking this way because I like Romo...still as a player and as a person. Plus, the Cowboys have a lot of money invested in him. But you have to protect the ball as a QB in the NFL and Romo keeps getting more careless.

I've read the garbage that many of you have typed tonight over the last few hours. Romo sucks; Romo isn't a championship QB; Romo needs to go; Romo chokes too much; etc, etc, etc.

First of all, how about all of you who wrote that crap go pull for Washington or Philly. You'll fit right in with their fans.

Second, the next Danny White? Are you really serious? I only ask because I don't remember Danny playing on defense against the Niners when joe Montana lead his team right down the field in the final two minutes against the Doomsday Defense. But, you guys are right. It was ALL Danny's fault. Idiots!

Third, I've heard all of that stupidity you morons are spouting off about Romo before. I heard it about Terry Bradshaw, Jim Plunkett, Joe Theismann, Phil Simms, John Elway, Steve Young, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning. Do you Einsteins see a trend there. All QBs who's fans wanted them gone because they had a few tough seasons or tough losses. They were ALL labeled as guys who either can't win "the big one" or choke "when the game's on the line". In case you missed it, they all came back to win a championship. There is no doubt in my mind that Romo will lead us there. The kid hasn't even started for three complete seasons yet. FYI, Aikman didn't win a title until his fourth year as a starter. Of course I'm sure all of you "fans" were screaming for Steve Walsh to take his place in 89 and 90.

Lastly, the season isn't over yet. We still have a really good chance at making the playoffs. When that happens, don't try and jump back on the band wagon. All of you will be a distant memory by then. Just like every other fair weather fan in history.

HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!

Romo isn't a leader, makes too many bad decisions and wont be winning playoff games unless a new play caller is hired.
