Romo is Not Going Anywhere

Romo is part of this thing due to his contract, like it or not. This O will flow through him the next 2 seasons, minimum. His play has been lagging THIS season in terms of completing open passes. That is concerning. I am a Romo supporter but admit this is troubling concerning the recent contract. I naively am hoping he has a nagging injury they are not disclosing as to not risk him to further injury and his passes show the usual zip to go with the freakish trigger release later in the season and on.

One thing we should've learned as a fan base through the QC, CH, Henson, LEAF, Stoerner, Bledsoe, Testy, Wright, years after Aikman was released, "cover your bases and don't assume you have a GM to find a quality QB". Romo saved JJ as an UDFA found by Sean Payton! JJ's reputation would be even more laughable and on Al Davis levels of embarrassment if Romo didn't save his ***!

That said get a HC/OC in here with some creativity and at least try to develop this team the next two seasons!

Romo hasn't been Romo for much of this season. He isn't making plays with his feet. He's playing scared of something.

Actually it was Callahan who took him to the SB. I agree it was Gruden who made Gannon, a perennial backup, into a Pro Bowler and an MVP in his late 30s.

Yeah well, Gruden was a terrible "tuck rule" nonsense away from making it happen, so I stand by it
