There, I said it.

I felt coming into this year he was/would be a top 10 QB.

I believed he could be and hoped he would be a top5 QB.

After the first two weeks I thought that he might just be the best QB playing.

The Bears game convinced me he is the best QB playing. Rams game just reinforced the notion and has given me the confidence to make this post.

Romo is the best QB in all of football!

In response to a VERY bold statement like "Romo is the best QB in football", the only thing a detractor can say is that it's too early to make such a statement.

But nobody can say "no, he isn't" based on his play. Even if you disregard the numbers and just WATCH the guy.

He's definitely in the discussion.

There are no QBs in the NFL that can make the plays he makes - I will say that. Some might be more effective pocket passers, some might have bigger arms, but there is noone who can do the things with his hands and feet that Romo can - noone is even close.

AMEN BROTHER! That's what I'm talking about WATCHING him actually play. The numbers are great and they help establish credibility amongst the talking heads. But its what i see that has me pumped.

You know what you cant see in the stats.
You cant see how Chicago was winning the battle at the line of scrimmage for 40 mins and how Romo's mobility consistently bought him time allowed him to make plays and carried this team on its back.
Those first two TD drives in the 3rd Q were all him.
He wore out the bears defense and soften it up for our running game.

We havent run the ball all year until the game's been decided. Including yesterday.

3 of these guys have already made their history and each are great in their own right. Tony Romo is in chapter 1 of his history and no one knows how this story will end.

I haven't taken a side in the argument/debate but you guys are missing the point. He said the best QB "playing". Not the best of all time.

Something to think about....

We could be watching the best Dallas Cowboys QB ever right now.....this isn't sacrilege, just sit back and watch the games....if Romo continues doing this, we very well could be watching the "birth" of the very best QB this franchise has ever had.

Now, I'm sure that there will be some out there that would be tapping the brakes on this, however, they would then be lacking the appreciation for what we are seeing.

He is already tied with Staubach for most 300 yard games in a CAREER.....he's on only 7 behind Aikman, and he has YET to start 16 games still....Vince Young has started more games, yet for me, it seems as though Romo is the more veteran starter.

I'm sure that some cried foul back in 1991-1992 when some people said that Aikman was the best ever....yet I'd say that he is.

Do NOT be surprised when it is all said and done, that Romo tops the list for best Cowboys QB's of all time.
