Based on the thread title alone, this thread could smash records for # of views.

Nope, its true. Dude has never won a big game in his life, this is what we needed.

Maybe you better rethink that.

They've won the division twice with him at QB.
In 3 other years he got them further than they had any business being.
Possibly the same could even be said this year.
Almost every single full year he had started, they have either made the playoffs or been in contention.

BTW, if they had lost sat week, the season would have been over. So really, look back just one week to get an example.

Jeesh

That is not to say Kyle Orton cannot have a decent game...sure hope he does.

I actually think that our offense will look really solid as long as the defense doesn't completely fall apart. You'll see a lot more balance, and Orton is probably good enough to start on a handful of teams.

although I would hope this team can finally pick up the slack and overcome the loss of Romo, but I do not think it is going to happen unfortunately. Please let me eat crow......

aside from that, win or lose says nothing about Romo being a very good QB so, as a number of others have pointed out, the title of this thread is a little off-base to what the OP really wants to say

EDIT: one thing that is nice though is that we may actually run the ball.

Why are you saying the guy is idiotic? People come on here voicing their opinions. Don't post if you don't like what someone posts. People leave this board all the time because posters with a million posts condemn everything they post like they know more since they've been here longer. What a joke..

Ok - hate to be Captain Obvious but you must realize the difference between a post saying "we have a chance without Romo" to "Romo isn't as valuable as you think."

One deserves a great debate the other deserves to be chided because of his previous hate for Romo and because it's a lazy and ridicules argument. I will continue to call out the ten percent who's hatred of Romo is greater than that of the team and give credit to those who necessarily don't like Tony but are still behind the team as I did just a couple days ago with Joey Boy.

Hope this helps - Merry Christmas.

How valuable is Romo when we were a home dog before the public knew he was hurt?

With Dallas' bottom dwelling defense, Philly was already the favorite.
Now they are just a huge favorite by NFL standards.
The line rocketed up when word got out that Romo was probably out.
Home field is keeping it from being 10+

Orton is capable though.

He's QB1 for the Dallas Cowboys. He's undoubtably the most important player on the team.

Tony is what he is. Good but not great. Always top ten but never considered one of the leagues best.
