These two guy are almost alike. I have seen Jake play first hand when he was out here in the desert. He was a risk taker, however that risk taker also cost the red birds alot of games. I am not sure how I feel about this change.

This morning I was thinking to my how I was so stressed during that game last night I could not even enjoy it. It affects me so much and I think it is only the beginning with Romo Plummer in the drivers seat.

Romo reminds me more of Jake Delhome. Hopefully he'll be as lucky as Jake also.

You are exactly right. I meant his early days with the Cardinals. 53 interceptions - 13 touchdowns...

I think it's a little early to make any comparisons, be it Plummer, Favre or whoever.

I do not think Romo = Plummer. I can see why you would say that, but I do not agree.

I see a lot of different guys in Romo. I see Garcia, Favre, a little Plummer, Hasselback, Delhomme. I see a lot of these guys different traits in him.

But I think he is a better passer than Plummer. I think he is more accurate, has a quicker release, and has more moxie.

To me there is only one question I have in regards to Romo.

Can he learn to know when to just go to the next play, without sacrifising who he is as a QB and what he brings to the table.

If he can do that, he will be better than Plummer ever was.

For the life of me, I was thinking Romo looks like Favre. Hes a gambler. Maybe he was just overwhelmed and slower then the rest of the pple on the field last night, but man, there were several throws that had Bledsoe thrown them, he would been physically run out of town today on a rail.

You've got to be kidding me??!! Do NOT compare Romo to Jake "the Fake" Plummer. I have to watch that idiot every week being here in Colorado, and i am just happy he plays for the donkeys and they have to deal with him.

He can't make any throw, the only time he makes a completion is if the WR is wide open, or the WR makes a great play to get the catch. Everyone in Denver closes their eyes when he throws b/c they don't know if it will be complete, incomplete, or a pick.

Romo made some mistakes, but that's expected with so little real game experience, but we also saw that he can make plays, he put some balls into very tight spaces with great accuracy, and he avoided the rush sometimes when Bledsoe would've been sacked another 4 or 5 times.

I think we are being WAY to harsh on Romo based on one half of play against a good defense where he was expected to save us. Let's not forget that TO dropped a pass, defense gave up long drives, and unfortunately the Giants just played very good defense.

I would save the Romo bashing (comparing him to Plummer is the biggest insult besides a comparison to Leaf). Lets see what he does this 3 game stretch on the road, as that will tell us alot about how he can perform.

You know who I see a lot of in him? Steve Young in his early years. The guy can throw tight bullets on the run, he is wild and crazy sometimes when he is running, and he has a pretty damn good arm. Romo and Youngs early year styles are almost identical.

Norm thinks that the game is just a little too fast still for Romo.

Well that's what playing time is for. The bad part is he should have gotten it in the 2nd Skins game last year and those other games we played that were meaningless.

Norm gets a lot of credit for his *football* knowledge. While the game maybe a little fast right now, he seems like he is more than able to handle it. I find Norm very BSPNish at times. Very annoying and a severe beating to listen too.

None of you know what Romo is so can it.

He aint no Plummer. He is Romo.

Give him a chance before you start jumping to conclusions on whether you want to bash him every week or jump on his jock.

Next Sunday is a fresh start so hit the clear button in your mind and get rid of the I cant wait to jump all over Romo at the 1st mistake he makes out of your head.

Oh and Romo with his 3 interceptions in one game is a high caliber QB. Take off your glasses man, it was a"gunslinger? comparison of when he was in ARIZONA.

I am sure he is going to much better when the Defense is not playintg soft after a huge lead and they have game planned for him. Shoot he only threw 3 INTs when they were playing a soft D and he was a suprise to the D. I am so glad I get to look forward to that!!

No, don't say that. I used to watch Plummer in his early days, and thought he had promise. He looks pretty bad though, although is that due to his years in Arizona? How important are the first three or four years for a new QB? Pretty important, I think.

I am a Romo promoter, but who knows how he will turn out? He'll need guts, talent, a THICK skin, and a dam*ed good QB coach. Some luck never hurts.

Norv Turner. Can we get Norv Turner?

That first pick was batted up in the air, so it was basically a free for all. His second int he threw into coverage and was a mistake on his part, although Pierce basically grabbed JJ when he was trying to slip into the screen. The last int, don't really know whose fault that was, it was one of those interceptions where Romo threw the ball to a spot where he thought the receiver was going to be. So we have to wait to see where the blame is on there.

But I was one of those guys that felt that Bledsoe was our best option to winning games. Saying that, Romo moved the ball well and had some good throws. He still does have that gunslinger mentality, which will definetly hurt us again down the road. But right now I think a change had to be made and hopefully he does resemble more of a Delhomme than a Plummer.
