Romo needs our Defense

to play like 11 pro bowlers. A defense that create turnovers will take the pressure of any QB. Our defense has to start playing great defense and stop giving up the big plays. I just can't figure out why this defense is not getting more sacks.

You are exactly right. I would love to have seen what it would've been like for Romo if the defense had actually shown some "marbles" Monday night. He would've had to score score score to win that game.

Yes he turned it over with the first int and gave them an easy TD, but it would've been nice for them to hold them to 3. How about the second int on the Giant 40. The defense can't then allow them to march 60 yards, they just can't.

I'd like to see what happens when Romo starts from scratch 0 to 0 with a running game mixed in and the defense not knowing when we're going to throw the ball unless it's 3rd and long.

you guys get it. This team is constructed to rely on the defense. All of the Drew Bledsoe bashing has allowed these guys to go untouched. But not by REAL football people in the NFL. Go read what Simms, Esiason, Madden are indirectly saying. 3 out of our 4 secondary guys have double digit siging bonuses. at LBer Ware and Carpenter are 1st round picks. Burnett was a 2nd round pick. James just got a double digit signing bonus. Akin Adonyele was a big free agent signing. Ellis was a top 10 pick. Spears was 1st round pick. Ferguson got a double digit signing bonus. Canty had a 1st round grade going into his senior year. I DO NOT CARE how they performed against the Titans, Texans....etc. They are built to play better than they have against the GOOD teams in the NFL. I would bet the ranch that Parcells is not letting them slide and I will also bet he is stunned about how they played against the GOOD teams in the NFL.
